I named this one "Alli Cat". I bought a wrecked Yamaha and built a frame around the engine,I hand built a fat rear fender, added a skirt setup to the fender, molded a fiberglass seat pan and built a seat from scratch, made a windshield,a set of forward controls, battery box, locking side panels for the battery-fuse box area, and raked the neck out for a long stretched look. I tig welded 12 inches to the fork legs and added 4 inches to the legs and 6 inches to the wheelbase with the added hardtail piece.I used a fuse box from an automobile with the newer ato type fuses. I built a tank for it but am not content with it so will be probably buying one from British Cycle when I get at this project again.I hid most of the wiring inside the frame tubes, and next time I build a chop,I will not be adding as many lights as I did on this build because it is not easy hiding as many wires as on this build. This is my third build and I build these scoots now as a hobby since I am unable to work because of medical reasons.I am most relaxed when working on my bikes.I will be trying to finish this project this summer and will no doubt start another soon after.
