Fender Mounting Question

I'm looking into building my first chopper, I like the look of the rear fender not having a lot of clearance to the tire. Is this possible with a softail frame like the Switchblade from Demon Cycles, if so where does the fender mount to?

you can mount the fender to the swing arm but without see your frame and swing arm hard to say what would look best.... So you can try and get a picture in your head look at peddle bike with the wires coming from the axle
