Well I started the project about 6 months ago. The wife and I drove from Maine to Canada to pick out a frame at Rolling Thunder. We decided on a 250 rsd drop seat with single down tube radius back bone with a 5" stretch. I need to mention the people at rolling thunder are very very nice people and very knowledgeable and If I ever build again I will be using one of their frames.

I'm using a Ultima 120" polished motor with a PSI carburetor, Whimmer air cleaner, Ultima open primary drive with outboard bearing support, and weld wheels that were polished. I took the shine off with a scotch brite going for the Exile look. I also installed a hand shift hydraulic foot auto clutch, and clean handle bars.

No controls, and no exposed wires or cables. Well, there might be a hint of wire here an there. There's a tricky air suspension front and rear. When it's down it will be an 1 1/2 from the ground.

There's an internal throttle and internal twist front brake (that should be fun), combination rear sprocket brake rotor, and the tank is on the way from Rolling Thunder. Also, there's a 6 speed trickshift rsd transmission, spike starter push button key pad, motor mount and more! To much to list.

Any comments or Ideas on the twist brake let me know. Hoping to have it done for summer of 08. Later.

The answer to your question on the air ride suspension is Tricky Air, and the front end is pricy but very cool for sure and works very well.

Nice Pro Street Setup

Good Luck and God Bless. I think it's great also to have your wifes support. Sounds like it's gonna' be an awesome ride. I'm curious on what made you choose the Ultima engine(I have nothing against using an Ultima motor just curious). Please show pics if you could. I also love that kinda' ceramic/metal look that Scotch guard does to chrome. It is a much softer and cleaner look.
