The Skullster

Here is my modified 1985 Ironhead Sportster. It is my first try at a full ground up rebuild. I have moulded 23 skulls into the frame, 1 on front guard,1 on oil tank and 2 on the fuel tank that I also extended. There are many more bolt on and painted on skulls as well (approx. 150 skulls in all). I made mounts to lower the already low progressive rear shocks, I also made all the spikes covering axle, shock, tank and headlight bolts and fork stops. It is raked and has a 41mm billet front end (Standard softail length), Sturgis 21" front and 17" rear wheels, custom deep cut rotors 4 piston calipers front and rear, cut down guards, I also removed the rivets and smoothed out the bracket on the front one. Forward controls, billet arlen ness matching grips, pegs and shifter. I did all the polishing and painting. It is painted HOK candy tangerine over a custom mandarin pearl base, with candy cherry black panels on front and rear guards with mandarin pearl pinstripe border. Inside the cherry are many skulls, front guard, tank and oil tank are also painted with truefire. The cylinders, heads, starter, forward controls, switch blocks and rear shocks as well as various brackets are painted in cherry black with orange metalflake. The engine is running 40 thou over KB pistons, andrews cams, dyna coils and ignition, S&S Super G with thunderjet and tapered turbo exhausts. Andrews gears in the 4 speed. Billet sidemount, headlight and mirrors, 2003 anniversary badlander seat, burleigh 1 and 1/4 inch t-bars, mini speedo and monster tacho with shift light. I hope you like it!

The sporty looks great. Nice stance, love the iron heads. Your paint looks bitchin. I'm a custom airbrush artist and I like what I see on your bike. Did you do the art work as well? If you did, nice stuff! Keep up the great work!
